Orthopedics

Dr. med. Maximilian Meichsner

Dr. Meichsner completed his training as a specialist in orthopedics at the Hospital for Sports Injuries in Hellersen from 1993 to 1999 and then worked in the orthopedic department at the Municipal Hospital in Bad Tölz as a functional senior physician. Since 2001 he has been practicing in the orthopedic group practice Dr. Klingelhöffer / Dr. Meichsner in Bad Tölz. In the same year, he integrated EMG diagnostics and therapy into his practice concept. Here, Dr. Meichsner established the EMG method in the context of biofeedback therapy concepts as well as sport- and workplace-specific recommendations. He also positions himself with his own scientific EMG studies in competitive sports and ergonomics consulting for industrial products. Dr. Meichsner has been active since 2005 as a speaker and EMG specialist for various training institutes and at congresses.

 

Dr. med. Peter Mackes, BSc.

Dr. Mackes runs a practice for homeopathy and osteopathy together with Dr. R. Böhler in Reutlingen and is a lecturer for general medicine at the faculty of the Eberhardt-Karls-University in Tübingen. He graduated in osteopathy at the University of Wales (GB), is a medical examiner of the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteopathie (BAO) and a member of the Gesellschaft für Haltungs- und Bewegungsforschung (GHBF e.V.). His practice focuses on posturology and the interplay of functional gnathological issues with biomechanical and neuromuscular postural and movement control. Dr. Mackes accompanies our ABW-Mapper 4D user meeting as medical director and gives practical lectures about his diagnostic and therapy concepts.

 

Prof. Dr. Konstantin Karanikas

Prof. Karanikas is a sports, prevention and rehabilitation scientist and teaches as a professor for movement and training therapy as well as rehabilitation and health management at the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) Bamberg. He is head of the study programs, Physiotherapy and Medical Sports & Health Management at FHM and since 2014 site director of FHM Bamberg. Major research interests are adaptations and changes after stress, injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system from the perspective of clinical biomechanics. He has been a speaker at various educational and training institutions and congresses since 1998.
Dr. Karanikas has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters. He is also a scientific reviewer for various journals. He has over 20 years of practical experience as a senior therapist in health and therapy facilities.

 

Dr. med. Günther Sutter

Dr. Sutter is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery. After receiving his doctorate in 1986, he did research work at the Hanover Medical School and the University of Homburg. Since 2000, he has been in private practice for conservative orthopedics with a focus on manual therapy/osteopathy, fascia therapy and shock wave therapy. Dr. Sutter has a wide range of additional qualifications in sports medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation as well as in manual medicine. Among other things, he trained in atlas therapy n. Arlen, osteopathy (D.O. DAAO), acupuncture, basic psychosomatic care, muscle trigger point and shock wave therapy as well as fascia therapy. 
Since 2015, he has been involved in teaching assistance for the EFDMA standard fascia therapy training courses with a focus on myofascial shock wave treatment. At the FDM World Congress 2018 in Cologne, he was represented with the lecture "FDM and shock wave therapy - Differentiated application of different types of shock waves in FDM according to TYPALDOS".

 

Dentistry

Dr. med. dent. Rainard Scheele

Dr. Scheele founded his dental practice in Hameln in 1979. Through further training with internationally recognized specialists such as Slavicek, Gutowski and Jankelson, he acquired extensive expert knowledge in Cranio-Sacral-Therapy, NMT and Physio-Energetics. He serves as Chair on the Fee-for-Service and Prosthodontic Settlement Committees and is one of the founding members of the ICCMO. As a specialist in neuromuscular dentistry, he has also been involved in interdisciplinary events and continuing education since 2006.
