Isokinetics describes computer-supported testing and training systems with the application focus on the knee joint. It enables a special form of dynamic strength training, the specification of which is a defined angular velocity. The patient trains computer-aided at a constant speed, with simultaneous feedback of measurement parameters such as range of motion, torque, power and acceleration. Isokinetic testing and training systems are versatile.
